Stranger things have happened.

March 2010.

Commissioned photography session for the Downtown Kitchener BIA.

And then I snapped this image on my iPhone to document some sort of proof of an image that caught my attention, from the front page of the Toronto Star from Dec 26th 2011:

Every now and then, as someone who puts food on the table through photography I need to tweak my creative compass. Losing direction, sticking to a never-changing formula, perpetuating insanity.

The quote "If it's not broke, don't fix it" was later amended to "if you can fix it, break it"...but for someone else to expose the flaws in photography licensing and then going out into the world, allegedly creating something original, and then playing the denial card while raking in the benefits of someone's genius? We might as well skip the grey area schpeel and call it blatant theft.

Then again, stranger things have happened. (e.g. apple shoot with Britney.)
