Taking family photos always leaves me with a sense of fulfillment, I enjoy working with kids and their uncapped energy! For the family photography clients I've been privileged to work with, I felt obligated to share something in return as an act of gratitude and sincerity, and it had to be something that would leave a more heartfelt impact beyond the words "Thank You." But what?
And then it hit me. Christmas, and a house call from Santa Claus.
Last year I initiated a voting contest on my FaceBook fan page. This was also supposed to lure more Likes, but due to a loophole in the coding, my strategy backfired. Even more unfortunate was my budget that didn't allow me to to deliver on a promise that year, and I felt pretty crappy about it.
Until Saturday, December 10, 2011.
Before arriving to Shylo's place, I imagined her two daughter's, Kadence and Sienna, a bit more grown up and somewhat thrilled to see Santa upon his arrival...given their innocence, awareness of Christmas, and what the holidays are all about. Sure enough, they were elated, overwhelmed, and exceeded my expectations when Santa and I arrived.
Now don't get me wrong, I'm not a scrooge. Everybody else got a house call too. :)Calob.
Myles.
Bella.
I think I might be onto something.
